IKEA Restaurant

Ok. Ikea is a furniture store - I understand that. The store is huge and the prices are good. That is fine but the real reason I go (as I don't buy much furniture) is for the main restaurant (there are two). You must wind your way through the store to reach the restaurant - almost like using a treasure map where the restaurant is the "X that marks the spot". It is worth every step. The food is served cafeteria style and is very fresh and tasty. In addition to that, the prices are very reasonable. For the cost of a quarter-pounder meal, I had Swedish meatballs, beans, mashed potatoes and a bowl of chicken stew. There are kids meals and it works out to be less than Happy meals with more food. Definitely worth the hike.

Lately the food is always COLD! We’ll barely, not quite, lukewarm. Too bad. (They used to have a microwave; pre-COVID; but that’s gone now. So nothing one can do about the cold food).
