IHOP

I have frequented iHop as a student but this time went after 10+ yrs with my daughters. The location of this iHop is extremely convenient as it’s right on Commerce street. If you are driving here there is no street parking and you can find number of parking garages around, one which is less than a block away. The interiors of the place looked upscale. The food and service was very good as well - we asked for a change of table & they immediately accommodated our request.

We arrived in the evening. There were several employees scattered throughout at different tables with their head down sleeping. The employees that were awake looked disheveled, confused and unprofessional. It seemed like they were under the influence of something. Our waitress was attentive but seemed a bit off in her speech. I didn't see anyone fit to be a manager anywhere nearby. One of my utensils had dried food on it, there was a human hair in one of the little sauce cups they brought. Not sure if there is some type of 2nd chance rehab employment, which is wonderful, but needs better supervision and structure.

Great place to get food and some breakfast. Great food, great service, and very friendly staff. I definitely love eating their pancakes, IHOP is definitely the best at making pancakes. There's no denying that
