Huddle House

Waited to be sat for 10 minutes when there Was only two other small tables and myself, one server doing everything and no other staff who were on the floor could be bothered to help her out when it picked up and she started to get overwhelmed. Been a server for 7 years and I’ve worked in places where other servers were lazy but never have I seen such blatant disregard for not only the people needing service but the lack of empathy for your co worker being overwhelmed. Manager on duty clearly didn’t care either. I felt bad for my server, she was clearly overwhelmed and needed help. The “team leader” and manager on duty on Labor Day morning shift should not be in those positions. I sat without any water for 20 minutes while my severer ran around trying to get caught up and asked the girl sweeping for a water because she stared right at my empty drink several times and kept sweeping and then never brought me a water. She had no tables, just doing side work.

Very poor service! Eggs weren’t cooked properly! A dog hair (hopefully not any other bodily hair) on my waffle! Dirty tables not being wiped prior to other customers being seated! Dirty coffee cup! And I guess they forget to refill coffee considering we paid close to 5.00 for coffee and only got 1 refill and we had to take our mug to the waitress! Definitely worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had!!! Oh and waffle was still raw!

Service was okay ish. The restaurant was pretty dead so we kind of expected to get checked on at least one time after getting our food (I asked for ranch and we needed a refill, server didn't come back until we got the check, still a nice server though.) The food was very....it tasted like it had been freezer burnt and stuck in a microwave to be quite honest (doesn't matter what we ordered, everything had that taste), and nothing was fresh. Very below average food, and not really worth the price at all.
