Huddle House

If I could give zero stars I would. The Google listing says this location is open until midnight and I was able to successfully submit an online order for in store pickup. When I arrived, the lights were off and two employees were cleaning. When I asked how to start the process for a refund since they were obviously closed, one employee went on a rant about how they’d been there since 5:30am and need to get more than 3 hours of sleep and she proceeded to get a major attitude. I will not be visiting this location anymore and highly recommend their listing on here be updated to reflect their hours because clearly they don’t have enough staff to keep the location open.

The wait staff was a lovely woman, but the location seemed terribly understaffed in general. We enjoyed our appetizer basket (though the fries were cold when they got to the table, everything else was yum), and the country fried steak was pretty good. Unfortunately, nothing else was up to par. The scrambled eggs were way undercooked (and I say this as one who enjoys a fairly soft scramble) and the biscuit tasted like it had been freshly microwaved from frozen. The grits were fine, but had no seasoning, and the hashbrowns we ordered "all the way", minus tomatoes, came naked EXCEPT for the tomatoes. Oops.

The waitresses were extremely slow they took forever to finally take my order. 15 minutes about. Another waitress took off to the back to talk to the cook. There was maybe 8 people in the whole restaurant and they were slow. 3:30 in the afternoon. When I finally said hey I’d like to place a to-go order she said let me fill my drink cup up first. I’d asked her how it would take to be ready she told me 30 minutes. So I just walked out of there. Extremely terrible service. Customers do Not come first at this Huddle House. Sad
