Hoya Korean Kitchen is right in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. There's inexpensive street parking all around. Inside is a bit small, but this is remedied by an added semi-outdoor structure that adds another several tables. The layout of the restaurant is shallow but elongated. Inside the track lighting is nice, and the woodgrain on the tables along with the wooden accents on the windows is charming and relaxing. The food is great. Simple menu, with a standard selection of Korean staples. Their mandu (fried dumplings) were crispy and had tasty fillings, and their beef bulgogi was plentiful and cooked just right. Their house kimchi was sour and had a good crispiness to it, though I wish it were a bit spicier. I also wish tteok-bokki was on the menu. We happened to be there on a night they had premium soju from Jeju Island, and it was so good. I recommend: Beef bulgogi Kimchi fries to share Chicken mandu Enjoy!
It was my first time visiting Fort Worth, and the heat (108 degrees) was too hot for me to walk and dining in. I decided order to go, and I ordered the spicy pork combination. Of course, I almost got a ticket for parking slightly blocking the garage exit, but the police were nice that I told him I'm an urber driver picking food ???? ????
This place was super cute! A bit pricey, but delicious. I would definitely go back! There is a parking garage that is hard to spot. It’s right next to the restaurant. Move slowly and you will see it. You have the go all the way up in the garage and the elevators are slow.
