The place is very clean and inviting, but it takes a long time to receive your meal. Competancy of service is lacking. Quality of the food ordered is very hit or miss. Cabbage too salty, rotisserie chicken overcooked, tough and bland, potato salad had zero flavor.... but the Jamaican patties, sandwiches and fries were on point. Too much Russian Roulette for my preference. Needs to be on point every time! Very disappointed.
They have awesome burgers for a good price. Best cheeseburgers in Charles Village. Highly recommend!
Unfortunately, I am only able to rate Hibiscus Restaurant two stars. The restaurant is clean and the employees are very welcoming but I did not enjoy my main entree. I ordered the jerk chicken salad wrap combo which includes fries and a drink. The jerk chicken salad was so spicey I was not able to eat the wrap. I eat jerk chicken frequently so I am aware that jerk chicken is spicey. The fries were hot and tasty. I also ordered a slice of pound cake that tasted okay.
