Overcooked veggies, over cooked shrimp and meat was dry AF... The rice was the only thing cooked righttThey use imitation crab for the sushi which is a mortal sin in my opinion. However The phone person was nice,the portions were decent sized and the order was ready on time.
This is the worst hibachi place in the Akron area. I order a trio meal from them the steak and chicken was dry so I asked for a remake, which was declined and then I ask for a refund which the said they don’t do. Furthermore, I had 97% of the meal in my hand to give them back at the time
So, the Hibachi Xpress on Tallmadge USED TO BE the best hibachi around!! The food was amazing...portions were perfect AND you would get free California rolls with any order over $30 bucks. I'm not sure what happened... if it's under new ownership or what... but the last 2 times we got food from there... it was ridiculously bad!!! It has gone down hill and we are very sad about it. AND... there is no longer sushi ???? which was personally, my favorite part of the restaurant!!! What happened Tallmadge hibachi xpress??? Long story short.... we are very disappointed with how quickly our FAVORITE restaurant declined in service and food quality!!!
