This area is full of little eateries. I have chosen Heritage Tavern for my dinner, partly because it’s open early, partly because it has a fun menu. Asparagus toast with foie gras and shaved truffles. Decadent. Also, Chefs Cut Steak with sautéed mushrooms and spinach with potato croquettes. The Penley Estate Cab Franc, Coonawara, Australia, was completely necessary to both rich courses. The decadent food needed the acidic wine. So delicious. The service and management staff were attentive and efficient. A great meal.

The food is outstanding! No disrespect to the chefs. They're doing an amazing job. However, the staff was a bit inattentive, and although the restaurant has nice interior design, the rooms sound ambiance is flat-out poor. It's tough to have conversations in there when the seating is close and the sound carries like Aaron Rodger's 2011 football season. Plus it's a busy place. We loved the food but still couldn't justify our experience for the price. So we probably won't be coming back. Wheelchair accessibility: It accommodated my moms wheelchair rather well. However, it's tough to get through the double door entrance because they have heavy doors.

Great brunch! Eggs Benedict, brioche French toast. Make sure you order the added maple ice cream. It adds a nice creamy flavor.
