Heritage Barbecue

Great place to grab a bite and drink good beers. We tried a sausage (hand made), pulled pork, beef brisket. The best was the pork, nothing needed was perfect. Beef was to much salted and need sauces to neutralize flavor as well sausage. The beer on perfect cold. The place is clean, casual and comfortable, pet friendly. The service excellent.

About an hour wait starting at 1pm on a Saturday. Don't try to save seats until after you get your number from ordering. The employees sometimes help you. They weigh the meat in front of you as you're ordering. Beef ribs were especially tender. Was able to cut it with the plastic utensil provided. A couple items sold out while we're in line. I noticed some items set as sold out online was still available in the actual line.

Across frm Mission San Juan Capistrano, definitely not to be missed. We were there on Labor Day weekend with 110°+ temperature . Their serving is big, my cousin & I each ordered our favorites & shared. Since it was hot & humid day we went with watermelon salad it was refreshing, Lamb of God sandwich was delicious & fulfilling, BBQ chicken was good, had it to go as the sandwich filled us up.
