Helen’s Restaurant

My photos do not do justice to the fine meal we had at Helen's. My drink was the Desert Rose which I enjoyed thoroughly but tequila and rose water are not for everyone! My husband had the burger which was fresh and dressed with pimento cheese for a spicy zing. Since it was a hot day, I had a light meal of salmon on crostini and the beet salad. The salad was especially refreshing, having orange slices, goat cheese and walnuts with the beets. The only caution I would give about Helen's is that the noise level is pretty energetic- don't expect a quiet, intimate evening!

Very nice atmosphere. Small but spacious. Food was excellent and the staff was hospitable. The Hash and eggs we're very good!

I have heard of Helen's from many people and after all the build I have to say I am looking forward at going again! The atmosphere and decor was not what I was expecting but that's what made it so much better. What a sleek and well designed place. The staff friendly and help especially with food allergies.
