Helen's Hot Chicken

Absolutely LOVE the food, ambiance, and atmosphere. The lady Rokeya who took our order was very polite, courteous, and accommodating. Will definitely be back here again.

Have been reluctant to eat here because it has always looked unclean the few times I have been in there. I didn’t feel like driving to the Meharry location. I chanced getting some fish today. My people, with the attitude and poor customer service, from the jump. No greeting and a reluctance to speak, even after I spoke. Asked for a plain whiting sandwich. I was given mild. After I left, I assume the owner, locked the door at 4:45. I knocked on the door to notify her that I had asked her plain. After going back and forth, she dissented with much attitude, that she was just going to have to refund me because blah, blah, blah…smh!!!

Best. Nashville. Hot. Chicken. Period. This is some of the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life. I got the hottest level of spice. 10/10 recommend their bone-in wings and chicken tenders. I could seriously eat this every day. Everything was perfect — juicy, great flavor, spicy but not toooo much, just incredible honestly. I can’t say enough great things about Helen’s!!
