Large place, overall good acoustics so we could talk at the table without effort. Food was okay, large servings as expected in Texas. Service was good. Our waitress was attentive and allowed us to have our pace for dinner. Overall, recommended as a business dinner location.

Never been here before. Decided to take some of my crew out for a nice dinner. This is a highly recommended place. Very upscale very nice white tablecloth type restaurant with a local Texas kind of flair. Menu is very diverse. Portions are huge steaks were delicious ribs were delicious the sides were amazing. Would I recommend this place again, absolutely if you’re looking for a delicious steak with great service really cool atmosphere both upstairs downstairs seating area. Also a top floor cigar bar. Definitely cool and hip and different. Make reservations this place is packed every night.

I’ve been to the McKinney Ave location a handful of times and always been pleased but this trip left a bad taste in my mouth. I leave 3 stars primarily for the service (1 star) and then the food making up for that. After being seated, we weren’t greeted or approached by anyone for roughly 15 minutes. At that point, someone took our drink orders but let us know they wouldn’t be our server. This ensued for 3 separate people who came with the drinks and checked on us, but couldn’t take our food order. After approaching a manager to remedy the situation and so that we could get our order in, we had the restaurant manager come over and apologize. I really do enjoy their menu, all locally sourced food from Texas. This evening I got the chicken fried steak, served with mashed potatoes and green beans. There wasn’t much mashed potatoes under the steak, but the chicken fried steak itself along with the jalapeño gravy were fantastic. Really neat location with multiple floors of seating. Will pro
