Hayes Hamburger & Chili

Love love love Hayes! Great sliders, wonderful diner breakfasts, open 24 hours, it just doesn't get any better than this! And post pandemic it's just as good, if not better. Be sure to try the pie!

Classic American Diner. It’s the kind of place where you will never eat alone. Cop a squat on a stool at the counter and watch your food being made to order. Everything is served hot off the grill. Don’t look for “Heath Food”, they don’t have any — no lettuce for your burger either. Chili Cheese Burgers — single, double, or triple meat with onions, fries, waffle fries, and breakfast all day every day. They keep this hot pepper vinegar sauce on the counter— I put it on everything, it’s addictive. I’m a regular at Hayes if not for the food, for the friendly staff. I’m always greeted with a smile, recognized, and welcomed back. I always look forward to my next meal at Hayes. Oh, on a side note — cash only, no plastic.

Excellent prices (especially in this current economy), amazing service and delicious food. For it being a tight space with counter top grilling, it felt great inside. Their AC and overall ventilation is remarkably good.
