Lot to say about this spot. Has been in Cincinnati for EVER, and use to be in the middle inside of the building it's in now. But, recently it has moved to a street side spot and is a really fun upgrade! Food itself is a pretty typical diner deal, but is made pretty well. I think currently they are still figuring out how to operate in their new building cause service was a little uncoordinated. Overall though is definitely a Cincinnati classic and very worth trying.
I had the country fried steak and a cup of coffee @Hathaway’s. I visited mostly because of it being a diner and expecting diner-like prices,however; it’s more restaurant like prices… Food is ok, but for $3.50 for a cup of coffee give the people a side of toast. With the meal, nothing really positive to say, but I don’t believe I have anything negative to say either. Food is blah, decor is charming, and the coffee is pricey…
Very lively on a Saturday morning! What once was a Carew Tower secret is out. A well stocked breakfast menu that has everything from Western Omelets to Goetta! Check this place out! The new location is right by the Square, so you can’t miss it.
