Hatfield's Goode Grub

We generally love this place, the food IS incredible but recently service has been lacking on weeknights. Went last week, hostess seated us and we were ignored for 15+ minutes. The staff were drinking milkshakes behind the bar and goofing around and no one came to offer water or check on us. Another table came in, was seated and got water immediately. So we just got up and left. That was a bummer. Good is great and the owner is very fun and kind. Cool place if you have attentive staff.

Ordered carry out. I had the catfish and grits. It was fantastic. My GF ordered the Chicago steak sandwich, which was delicious as well. Our sides were collard greens and Mac n cheese. Great place to chill and have a good meal or hang out and have some drinks and play some pool. It can be real low key some nights or it can be popping if there's an event going on. Food is Awesome. I love me some Brunswick stew and any kind of BBQ. Will definitely be back soon!!
