Flew into Cleveland and did not know the food terrain. I wanted something with flavor and spice. Habesha showed on the search and it was a great choice. I had the Gommen and Awze Tibs (Spicy Beef). Add in the simple pleasure of using your hands to pick up the food pieces was fun. Get extra napkins. Well worth the visit.
We had an amazing meal at Habesha. The owners were so incredibly friendly and the food was amazing. 10/10 I would recommend this to anyone living nearby. The coffee ceremony was fun and delicious - an essential part to wrap up your Ethiopian meal. I’d especially recommend the Shiro or the lamb tibs.
On my way to the airport I found a great family-owned Ethiopian. You will not be disappointed if you're a foodie!
