Hanky's Hot Chicken

Hanky’s Hot Chicken was very good. There is plenty of parking there. I tried the mild original sandwich and I liked it very much. Next time I would bump up the spice. It wasn’t very hot. We also tried a chicken burrito, which wasn’t as good as the sandwich. There was plenty of outside dining next to the fountain. It was very relaxing to sit outside and eat. There is also seating inside the restaurant.

We've been to this restaurant once before (shortly after thr grand opening) and everything was really good. The owner was walking around talking to customers and the staff were all friendly and the outdoor tables and area were very clean Today (8/4/2022)....not quite as good. Staff were still friendly and helpful, but the food was not as good (waffles were not super fresh) and the outdoor area wasn't super clean. The chicken was still really good, so hoping it was just an off day. Parking: Plenty of free parking nearby.

This photo says all I need to say, they make everything with love here. Great chicken place, the levels of heat are perfect. You don't feel like you're jumping to crazy extremes between their original and hot levels, you can find the perfect heat for you. But if you really want a kick out of the hankey's hot is where it's at. Great flavor great spice. Love this place
