Half Shells Oyster Bar & Grill

Great seafood options and cool vibe for a Saturday afternoon with some March madness on TV. We got to the restaurant around 4, in time for HH which is 3-6 everyday. Enjoyed some fried pickles (very good) to start, a draft beer for me & margarita for my wife. Service was very friendly, but a little bit slow. Fried shrimp and shrimp & grits were excellent. It's not always easy to get well prepared seafood in the area but Half Shells delivered. We'll be back!

All the food was fresh and yummy. I ordered off of rockfishs page from google but they sent me here which I’m not mad they did lol I wanted to try the oysters (since I was feeling sick and it was a ton of zinc(I felt a lot better)). I got some kind of platter with 3 types of fish , hush puppies and fries. I also had never tried the pudding cake and it was not for me soley based off of texture lol would come back especially for the fried cod and hush puppies .

Their queso is uhmazing & the calamari. We ordered their daily special - mahi tacos . Overall good except the tortilla was a bit stale. Other than that, service was phenomenal and pretty cool spot .
