Halal Food and Ice Cream

Not sure why the bad reviews. I think people come here expecting something different. Is it 5-star restaurant food, no. It's 5-star New York cart food and I love it!

I work close by and went here for lunch. I ordered the chicken over rice which I assumed came with a drink since every meal states it comes with one. I paid for my food and then asked for the drink. She said oh no we don't do that anymore we just haven't had time to take it off. Fast forward, I pay for a fountain drink and wanted lemonade. I'm not too big on carbonated drinks so lemonade is my go to. She gave me lemonade/Sprite mixture. I politely told her it wasn't lemonade she said, "yes it is, it's carbonated lemonade", I said never mind I'll just take a sprite, since I hate my lemonade mixed like that. She took it back with attitude. My experience was not as bad as some. But after reading some reviews it appears they are prejudice or view certain people in a way where they treat them like they don't matter. This should not go silent if they are. This kind of behavior should not be allowed anywhere let alone in Sacramento. It's 2021 and their way of thinking should be thrown out alo

My favorite local halal shop. I thought it was just an ice cream shop at first, but I go there 1-2 times a week now for the chicken over rice plate. Have frequented the place for the past 3 years and plan to continue doing so. It's like there's crack in the food or something lol. I've tried all the halal food and it's amazing. They do burgers and chicken tenders as well that are good.
