gusto! Ponce

I ate here for the first time this past week and I loved it. The ingredients were fresh and they all blended well to make a great tasting entree. The staff was really helpful (Xyelle was the best) and they worked really well together. My food was prepared quickly and the price was right too. Right at $13 for the entree and chips. I got shrimp with the chile lime mango seasoning on a pita. It tasted amazing. I can't wait to go back.

I’m not sure what’s happened to this gusto location. I’ve been coming here for 2.5 years and over the course of the last 6 months, every experience is terrible in comparison. Change in management or ownership maybe? Not sure. Staff is rude, serves COLD food, and can’t seem to put the to-go container tops on correctly, as tonight, for the SECOND time, I got home to my good being spilt all inside the to go bag. Not sure what to else to say. Hire better employees? Have a legitimate manager on duty? Who cares? and upholds a standard? Just spit balling here.

Usually great food but unfortunately the last two times I’ve visited the chipotle mango sauce has been a concoction of weird oily consistency. Almost looks like grease or leftover fat from the chicken poured into a to-go container. Really disappointed with the food - wish they’d make sure the sauce was consistent every time (especially for almost $11 a bowl)!
