Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

Traveling for work and came across this place and was so happy! I absolutely loved it! Great service, clean atmosphere, fantastic macaroni, and oh the chicken! I could have eaten here every day of my trip and been happy. The chicken isn’t as spicy as I thought it would be so I was glad about that. And they give you honey if you ask. Will definitely be coming back here!

When on a road trip you do what? Eat!!! We had just pulled up to the Memphis area and we're hot, thirsty and hungry. One of us went inside and the rest of us stayed in the car. She came outside with wings. Oh my. I didn't chicken at that time but after we ate that wing we had to go back. The chicken is fried hard yet it's juicy in the inside. It had some nice spice and heat to the flavor. I ordered a three piece. It came with Cole slaw and Baked Beans. Most times the sides are lacking. Not here. The beans really tasted like I made them myself. Ok so that must mean the coke slaw is got gonna be a hit. Nope it was good too. This is a plus. Because 9 times out of 19 something not going to be right. I'm sorry I don't have better pictures but that was because I was eating and didn't think about pics. 10/10 would recommend this location.

The chicken sandwich was awesome. Must try not to mention it was a Special for the day.! Demarius took really good care of us too he rocks
