I recently had the pleasure of visiting Guitars & Growlers in McKinney, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. This establishment beautifully combines three of my favorite things: craft beers, mouthwatering appetizers, and live music. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. Been coming here for a while now, my first experience was an open mic night and the warmth of the staff, the constantly rotating beer selection, and the ability to purchase 4oz glasses for the richer beers at great prices made it a regular spot for me and my friends. We started participating in the open mic night, and the other musicians are just incredibly welcoming and diverse. You’ll hear 10 different genres across several generations of musicians on any given night. It’s way better than a suburban bar has any right to be. Definitely recommend giving it a try! The brisket nachos are killer btw.
