Very good from start to finish. The service was prompt, polite and we'll informed. The escargot delivered, using lobster butter would make it a sure winner for my taste! The crab cakes & salad were perfect. Well done, you're a star on the Miami restaurant map, keep improving!
This is my third time coming to Gringo’s and I can say with confidence that it’s CONSISTENTLY DELICIOUS! The mussels in the spicy tomato broth are yummy and the seared tuna salad is lightly dressed with a really great ponzu ginger dressing. The short rib risotto was perfectly executed. We also purchased two of their key lime pies to go for a birthday party and they were a hit! Overall, very pleased with every dish we’ve ordered. The ambience is phenomenal... it feels like you’re grabbing a bite in Key Largo, not Coral Gables. Lastly, the service is amazing! Always a fun time, and we look forward to returning!
Went here on a super hot Sunday, around 92 outside. The place was semi busy and they had open tables at the front with misters, inside with the AC or off to the side with the fan. We opted for the side with fans and it was nice. Service here is spot on, the staff is super friendly, helpful and just all around good people. Everyone was just walking around very happy. Great job team! The food was good. We had the tartare and oysters to start. The oysters were decent and had a great hot sauce to accompany them. The tartare could have had better flavor but was still good. We then shared the oyster po boy and lobster sandwich. The po boy was served on a nice thin baguette with great fried oysters and was my favorite of what we ordered. The lobster sammie just didn’t do it for me; too soft of a roll and lacked flavor IMO. (Forgot to take photos of these ????????♂️) Overall, come here with a group, have some beers, have some laughs with good food and great service.
