Grimaldi's Pizzeria

The best meatball calzone in the universe!! Fun atmosphere and great service!!! My favorite pizzeria ????

Off a recommendation from another teacher & student, I tried Grimaldi's on my birthday for the first time. The 30 minute wait to get a table didn't bother me. The bizarre night started after I ordered an 18-in "the Don" pizza. Antonio, the server, accepted the order and very strangely replied with an enthusiastic tone, "of course that'll be well done!" That was a very peculiar statement when ordering a pizza, as it is typically what you might hear upon ordering a burger, if that's the only way they serve it. I'm not ordering a burger, I'm not ordering a steak, I'm ordering a pizza, it's a 3-meat pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and meatballs. The pepperoni, sausage, and meatball are all processed foods, therefore, "of course that'll be well done!" They are processed pork. The meatballs are highly processed. According to their website, they contain eggs and soy. When companies serve food that contains soy but doesn't need soy, it means they don't make them at the restaurant and they arriv

My wife and a couple of friends visited Ft Myers Beach and surroundings. On a Saturday night after being unsuccessful in finding a table in any pizzerias in Downtown Ft Myers we Googled pizza places in the area and found Grimaldi’s at one of the local malls. They were open until 11pm. Thumbs up! The experience is totally 5 stars. The dining room is beautifully furnished (very Italian) the area where the pizza is prepared is visible to the customers and the staff is very courteous and make you feel at home. We ordered an 18 inches Traditional pizza, with Kalimantan olives, spinach, ham, bacon and pepperoni. The thin crust is simply delicious! I never thought I would like a crust as much as the toppings as this pizza which anything short of perfect. Unfortunately I’ve neglected to snap a picture of this beauty. But I highly recommend this pizzeria by its delicious menu, top service, location and ambiance!
