DaRuMa Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Lounge

We went here a few days ago. The hot Sake did not taste right, the Ginger dressing did not taste right, and the rest of the food, sushi and a couple of other dishes just weren't very good. The service was not good, the waiter completely forgot to bring us our Sushi order, among other things. The prices were pretty high. The music was a guy playing a piano. It was WAY, too loud, and he played WAY too fast like he was just belting them out and trying to get them over with asap. It was a VERY VERY disappointing experience, and we will never go back.

Me and my fiancé and another friend stopped in to have dinner. Very nice place very well decorated. we soon found out that the portions were small, and the meal I chose was 34.00 total .. so I told the waiter I also wanted to add a side of shrimp to the meal . That cost me an extra 31.00 to add shrimp .. my whole meal was only 34.00 with steak and chicken .. so now 1 meal is 64.00 And this was hibachi. . I asked a waiter how they could charge that whenever the whole meal was basically almost the same price as extra shrimp !! He could not answer it .. and was very embarrassed . I will never go back with those prices.

We went for dinner the other night. Everything was fine except, my fiancé ordered the same as me steak and chicken hibachi, but he wanted to add shrimp. Which they did but they didn’t tell us that it was a $30 add on, which sounds absurd to me. So his meal alone was $65 due to the add on. Also the hostess’s act like you’re bothering them and the soup was cold. We will not be back.
