Greens N Things

The cashier informed me that my meal would be ready in 15 minutes. Mind you it took nearly 45 minutes. Not only that but I'm ticket number 36 but numbers after me were getting called. I noticed that the individuals assembling the orders were close to several customers and they seemed to be a priority. I will never spend another dollar in this establishment. Nothing was offered for my extended wait time! Poorly ran business with awful customer service! Avoid at all costs.

I ordered the smothered chicken wings and fried catfish with dressing, collard greens, french fries and hush puppies. The staff was quite pleasant and the order was ready when I arrived. The food was rather disappointing though. The seasoned fries did not have much flavor and were dry. The chicken wings were a nice size. The gravy was okay but the skin was quite rubbery. The catfish flavor was just okay, although it was cooked well, nice and tender. The greens were a bit too salty. This is a local restaurant and I will give them another try. I like that they have some dishes that you can't find elsewhere like oxtail.

If your looking for some good soul food this is definitely the place. My wife and I got food from here before leaving Indianapolis and this soul food restaurant did not disappoint at all. Everything was wonderful, the best soul food eating for sure
