Great Scott Tavern

Very nice atmosphere. Easy parking. Nice server. Wine list is okay and I know they're working on making additions. Food was good. Great presentation. The only issues were not major. A the potatoes were cold. They were still tasty. Salmon was delicious B. Bacon wrapped meatloaf. My friend that ate the meatloaf said the bacon added flavor but he couldn't eat the bacon b/c not cooked well enough/crispy, his preference. We'll eat here again. Parking: Very easy y parking behind the building in the even have a valet that takes the car across the street in private parking

It only gets 2 stars because of the stellar server. She was excellent and very friendly. I got a "reuben" which had toasted bread, cold corned beef and minimal cheese. "Larry the Lounge Lizard" was the "entertainment" for those of us who ate outside on a Saturday night, much to our dismay. He did his karaoke shtick... I felt embarrassed for him. His banter may have been worse than his attempt at singing. I'm never going back!

It was after 8PM (closing at 9PM), but the GST welcomed my wife and I and served us quickly and with professional enthusiasm. We split a wagyu cheeseburger (with fries) and also tried the macaroni and cheese. Everything tasted wonderful and the serving size of the mac-n-cheese...huge! We took most of it home for later. Service was top-notch and friendly. They were playing jazz music in the background and there was a piano in the center of the dining room. We are looking forward to returning, hopefully with some live music.
