This restaurant is a hidden gem. They’re located next to a gas station, so they are hard to miss. But the food quality and service are beyond exceptional. The restaurant is very family oriented. Everyone gets treated like family, just how a soul food restaurant in the south should be. I’ll definitely be back for another visit.
My first time ordering food from here. We ordered two vegetable plates with macaroni & cheese, green beans, black eyed peas, yams, cornbread dressing & lima beans. Everything was tasty & flavorful. Staff was great! The price was $24 for 2 vegetable plates, 4 veggies per plate.
This was my first time at this restaurant. I was hoping that the food was good. Turns out it was GREAT. I purchased the fried pork chop and put gravy on it, with Broccoli rice casserole, green beans and cabbage ???? ????. I brought my sister a plate. This is my Soul Food home now.
