Grand Street is a treasure. The sherry BBQ glazed smoked pork chops were simply divine! Our server (Jonny) was charismatic and very knowledgeable of the menu. Once dinner is complete don't pass up a chance to post up to the bar. Caleb (bartender) will keep the libations flowing while providing great conversation. Can't say enough about Grand Street.
Unique place in city center Lenexa. Great menu choices and a wide variety of drink options. Ordered chicken salad, tuna tartare, moscow mule, and a negroni. A bar area in the lower level and a lot of space. Definitely worth checking out.
I’ve been a GSC patron for many, many years. I had never gone to the Lenexa location until last year and would never return there. It was HORRIFIC and they COMPLETELY ruined my child’s birthday lunch. EVERY year I let my children pick whatever restaurant they’d like to be taken out to lunch for their birthday and my oldest daughter (turning 12) picked Grand Street, which should have been a solid choice. My youngest daughter always picks J. Alexanders and my son picks Paulo & Bills. I had never dined at this location and decided it would be an opportunity to enjoy their menu and not have drive so far. I should have known it might not be good when we walked in at lunchtime and it was almost empty. I ordered a MEDIUM RARE steak and Bill’s salad . The steak was practically burned (see picture). The salad was drenched in balsamic vinegar and had no honey mustard at all (see picture). I could eat neither. When I spoke to the manager, she told me the cook was new and they’d had staff
