Goodfella's Pizza & Subs

I really liked this place at first. Great food; great customer service! But it has also been hit and miss. I realized that the hits are in the afternoons or evenings. The misses, are anything ordered after 9pm. For example: I have ordered a couple of dishes late at night and the dish is overcooked a bit, and the rolls are so overcooked, they are brown and hard with no flavor. Not to long ago, I ordered manicotti, and Calamari. The Manicotti was fine, the Garlic knots were uneatable from being way overcooked, and the calamari breading was a medium to dark brown, hard as a rock, and the calamari itself was like jerky. Then I made an order around 5pm, and it was perfect. Recently I ordered a Lasagna pizza. I had had it before when a friend ordered it (also early evening), and it was awesome! A nice even coating of toppings. But, when I ordered after 9:30, I got a pizza with mostly just cheese. There were a couple places that had the other toppings, but it was slim. Basicall

Garlic knots with a side of Alfredo sauce are hands down the best! Fried mushrooms were wonderful!! The cheese pizza is a family favorite and every time we get together with friends we get the cheese pizza to go. After one slice of the cheese pizza you will be hooked! The pizza crust is different from everywhere else. It has a perfect puffy crust but it's thin. However it is not crispy like your traditional thin crust. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed!!

Tonight I tried the deep dish and quite an amazing experience it was= I absolutely loved it and the people of Goodfellas’ are always the best. Craig the owner is one of the nicest guy and he’s always there. Straight up dedication. Still the best pizza ???? spot in Texas, no doubt and their pasta dishes are bomb ???? as well.✔️???????? I’ve been in Texas for 1 year 3 months and I’m “Jersey~Adam in Texas”. Lived in LA also for 19 years. This place is one of the best in 20 years. Check out that pic????????
