Goode Company Seafood is one of my all-time favorite seafood restaurants in the Houston area. I typically frequent the original location off of Kirby but was on the other side of town and had the opportunity to visit the I-10 location. As usual, the food is delicious. Their famous Campechana Extra with shrimp and crab is a flavorful, hand-crafted seafood cocktail served with tortilla chips. It a great starter for sharing, but I love these so much sometimes I will just have it as my meal. They offer a variety of mesquite grilled or fried seafood dinners, both of which are top notch. The waitstaff is always friendly and professional. They will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. All you need to do is ask and they will work to make it happen if possible. The atmosphere at this location is definitely more relaxed and low-key than the original location which makes for a nice change. They do have a full bar in the center of the restaurant and have plenty of booth and table seating
Never really disappointed with the food and service. Had the oysters and seafood cocktail for appetizer, seafood gumbo, and reddish with shrimp enpenada.
This new (well not so new I guess) location is more approachable than the last one, but the food quality is sti great. Our server was very kind and helpful, it was a great experience. Certainly not the cheapest seafood joint in town but it’s worth the price of admission.
