Ginger Brown's has the best tasting home cooked food ???? It's all pretty much Comfort Food ????. I Ordered one of the specials which was Chicken Fried Steak. Had that with Mashed potatoes and country gravy, black-eyed peas, and pinto beans. My husband had Fried Pork Chops with applesauce, and Fried squash. Our meals also came with Cinnamon Rolls that were hugh. When we first arrived at our table we were served warm Rolls and some sweet Cinnamon butter! OMG it was so good ???? We put the orders in for 2 Bannana Puddings to take home with us. ???????? You truly get alot of food and you will not leave hungry that's for sure! Our waitress was very nice. The hostesses and all the waitresses wore masks ????. But customers were not required to wear them at all. Great service and hospitality! I would definitely recommend visiting The restaurant opens at 5:30 and close sometime around 4pm. No dinner is served there. I will definitely be returning for my birthday November 4th Kid-friendliness
Ginger browns is basically just a Texas version of a 50s diner. Filled with lots of cool cowboy kitche and nice waitresses who know what they are doing. I was seated quickly and got my drink and food quickly. I asked if they had any eggs Benedict which I'd been craving and was told it wasn't on the menu but she could get me something made. It was great. A first for me was the jalapeno hollandaise. Honestly if I can figure out how to make it, it will be my standard go to. Excellent!!! Eggs were more done than I like but I think It was my fault in how I ordered it lol. The English muffin looked homemade or at least well made, thinner and wider and griddled. The ham was think and well seared. All in all it was tasty. They have lots of food for the price, so don't bawk at what are good prices since they actually feed you good food.
Food was ok and the surprise freebie of cinnamon rolls after our meals was a delight! The collection of cookie jars in the establishment was incredible:)
