Garp & Fuss

A nice and cozy Winter Park locals favorite spot with great HH prices and food. There aren't many seats at the bar so you would need to get there early but my husband and I snagged two of them on a Friday. We ordered the drink special for $5 which was a vodka cherry limeade with lime and I asked the bartender if it was really sweet and she offered to make it less sweet for me. I really liked it and so did my husband! House wine was also $5. My husband was starving so quickly ordered the chuck, sirloin, and brisket smashburger ( as I perused the menu and sipped my drink)..It came quickly and was topped with a fresh tomato slice, red onion, slice of sharp cheddar cheese, yellow mustard and pickles. It was a simple presentation but tasted delicious as if it was made in your own skillet at home. We then ordered the grilled octopus with chilled Mediterranean bean salad with charred lemon. Last night was date night and we decided to try Garp & Fuss and so glad we did. My husband got a linguine dish with lobster and shrimp and I got chicken with risotto. I took a pic of mine after I started eating it, lol. This was probably one of the best dishes I have had in a while and we eat out every weekend. The service was great as well. When we arrived around 7:40 there was only a 45 minute wait so we decided to grab a drink at the bar and even the service at the bar was top notch. If you have not visited this little gem I highly recommend it. It is a vibe! I’m looking forward to going back and trying some more of their food.
