Fantastic Italian food and desserts, especially the seafood pasta options. The Tiramasu is insanely delightful and made in house.
I'm Sicilian and grew up with authentic homemade Italian food...so Italian places are hard for me. Gaetanos was a joy to go to...great atmosphere. Like old time Chicago. The garlic bread and sauce is outstanding. And a good sauce in a restaurant is hard to find...this one is great with a little bite to it which I love. We ordered meatballs for an appetizer...they were very good. Probably the best yet at a restaurant. I had chicken picatta...I thought the sauce was too runny and the chicken wasn't as moist and juicy as I expected but all the flavors were there. We also ordered lasagna...my husband loved it...very flavorful. We had a bite of our friends chicken parmesan and it was also very good. The lemon cake was good but the cannolis were outstanding. Don't let the orange flavor put you off you can hardly taste it. I loved this place and am happy to say I finally have a regular spot to go to. Looking forward to trying more of their menu next time. We've been back a number of times s
From walking in the door, we were treated like royalty. The host was very welcoming. We had appetizers, of Shishito peppers and Bruschetta. The Bruschetta was AMAZING. We also both had a house specialty cocktail. They both were outstanding. Our entrees were Sausage and peppers and Lobster ravioli. Both were prepared and presented perfectly,,,,so delicious, and paired with wines that complemented the dish. Dessert was Tirimasu that absolutely melted in your mouth and Cannoli. Our waiter was THE BEST. He took the best care of not only us, but the other patrons he was serving. It's definitely enjoyable being given that kind of attention. We visited from Iowa and I wish we were closer, because Gaetano's is definitely Top Notch, and will definitely be back if in Denver again.
