Furn Saj Restaurant & Bakery

I absolutely love Mediterranean food and have tried several different restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley. This was my first time here and this spot is in my top three!! Delicious food, generous portions, and very friendly staff. Will definitely come back here...highly recommend!!

My experience was not very pleasant. I ordered the beef shawarma plate. The beef was so stale, dry, dark in color, and chewy to that point my teeth still hurts from chewing. The rice was mushy and stale. Their ice machine at the fountain drink is broke. The taste was extremely unpleasant. During my visit, peak lunch time, only 4 customers walked in. I am in extreme doubt that the good reviews are genuine. This place is one of the worst middle eastern restaurants I ever been to.

Excellent Lamb Shawarma, tender and juicy. The Hummus was authentic with generous portions of lamb on top. The pastries where also fantastic. Highly recommended if you like Mediterranean cuisine. The Nutella pie made great dessert. We also had stuffed grape leaves which where made in house and packaged in convenient to go tubs. The meat dishes are very tasty, but they also have a huge variety of vegan options.
