Full Moon Bar-B-Que

Our food was brought to our table and was incorrect. The cashier rang up our order wrong and the female manager came to our table and said “Well to get what you ordered you’ll have to pay more, so what are we gonna do?” Her demeanor was as if it was our fault the food came out incorrectly. She offered to bring us the sides we ordered but not the extra meat that we originally ordered. She slammed our sides down on the table, gave us a snarky attitude and walked away. Forgot 2 sides twice and had to go up to the register with our receipt to get what we ordered. Organization was terrible. The manager had to go table to table correcting everyone’s orders. Definitely won’t be going to this location if the customer is treated like the problem.

We ate at the Trussville location this past Sunday, September 4th. We dined in and ordered two pork plates with sides and drinks. Our pork was not satisfactory. It was chopped instead of pulled (not specified, but should have), too much sauce, stirred together and not very tasty as it usually is. Should have said something to those at the counter but the restaurant was very busy. We’ve bought from this location many times, even shipped sauce/chow chow and cookies across the country, but this was our first time disappointment!

Too pricey for the amount you get. 1 sausage link and a side of greens and potato salad was $17. Nothing tasted exceptional. The chow chow was a pleasant surprise.
