Fuji yama Sushi

I gave this place another shot. I really wanted to enjoy this food, but it’s safe to say I won’t be back (or ordering takeout again). Maybe Coco’s Curry Ichibanya and the sushi in Okinawa, Japan spoiled me but what I have tried here at Fujiyama is lacking. Bulgogi- too many onions, not enough sweet Korean bbq flavor Monster roll and Crunchy roll.. very plain. Maybe sushi isn’t meant to be delivered but I have had better through take out. The crunchy roll wasn’t crunchy by the time it got to me, and if it weren’t for the spicy Mayo there would barely be any flavor. Japanese Curry- why is chicken katsu not an option to get with curry? This Curry is watered down and the chicken is also lacking in flavor. I’m sorry, but again, I am disappointed. I don’t mean harm to your business but I’ve wasted enough money here.

I decided to have the salmon bento box and it was delicious! The rice was cooked perfectly, the salmon was crispy on the top, my tempura shrimp was crunchy and tasted like it was cooked in fresh oil and not day old oil. I got tempura broccoli tempura sweet potato, eggplant and mushroom. This place was good and affordable. #tryit

The prices for sushi are amaze balls especially if you hit it at happy hour. Can’t be beat. The service is always great when my kids and I go here. The restaurant is always kind of humid and muggy feeling. It’s just too hot. No complaints about the food services or prices. Had to give 4 stars though because it’s just not as enjoyable or comfortable with the temperature in there. If that was nit an issue would give 5 stars.
