So I grew up with Gringos, in Pearland & Texas City, so my cantina expectations are extremely high. Parking at this place is a bit of a bear, with a big truck (which I drive - F350), and handicapped slots are sparse (wife has internal prosthetic leg). So she was dropped with a friend, at the front doors & we made our way over 2 blocks to a spot. Walked in to a proper cantina atmosphere & were greeted by an early 20-something waitress. She was run a bit ragged by the half dozen of us at our table, but was extremely attentive. Food came out quickly & was delicious. Fajitas were good - Wife had them & I had chicken smothered with cheese & onions that was phenomenal. I'm very happy with our visit!
Amazing food. Superior service! Great atmosphere!!! The food was beyond exceptional in flavor, cooking, and presentation. We ordered combo fajitas for two with a frozen strawberry margarita. Super delicious frozen margarita!! Very comfortable booths. This will now be one of our favorite places!! Highly recommend; especially for date night!!
The first time I went here, I was not a fan. I'm glad I went back to give them another shot. The service is good and the food is solid. Pro tip: ask for the 'hot' hot sauce at all Mexican restaurants. We asked for it here and their habenero salsa is on point when mixed with the queso. There's no complaints here. I've had some dishes that I prefer over others but that's a preference not quality issue.
