Frankie's South Philly Cheesesteaks

The only reason I'm giving Frankie's 3 stars is because of their prices. I ordered one sandwich (which didn't even include fries or a drink), which was delicious, by the way, and it cost over $14 dollars! And this wasn't even their 'large' sandwich. Another way of looking at it: each bite cost about $1.35. A side-by-side comparison: Wishbone chicken right next door gives you 4 pieces of fried chicken, french fries, and garlic bread for less than $14.00! What Frankie's wants to charge is up to them; whether I ever go back (unlikely), is up to me.

The Philly’s are phenomenal but so is the awesome bartender Olivia! I love it here! Come visit The best bartender in Tucson at Frankie’s and get some great food n Phillys ????????

I’m so glad they opened up another location on this side of town. However, I recently found out that the one on Grant is closed. I am surprised I have never reviewed this place as the cheesesteaks are amazing, highly suggest pairing mushrooms, with with cheese and upgrading to hot peppers if you are okay with spicy. There cheese fries are amazing as well as them serving alcohol and dessert, you must try this place at least once, especially if you are visiting from out of town or are from Philadelphia and miss your cheesesteak.
