Francine restaurant

What a brunch! I had an absolutely amazing brunch in this immaculately decorated tucked away gem. Everything is just gorgeous anout this spot. That and I feel like im back in France sitting in the dinning room spectaculaire! The plate-up was delicate and focused. The servers were genuine and hospitable. I have nothing but praise for what I encountered so far. Great for couples, groups, families, and especially great for friends. Will return and 100% will tell a friend. I had high hopes when I booked my reservation,. First off the restaurant doesn’t even know what type of quinine it is, Italian or French. The atmosphere cinema was clear view of a over busy kitchen and over waiting staff running around serving food. For a second I thought I was at Dennies during Xmas eve. We ordered The grilled Romaine Lettuce which was two giant romaine sticks from what it looked like was from Walmart produce isle. Tasted soggy, view of clear burnt grill marks and drenched in mayonnaise, was not worth $30. Booked a party of 16 for a birthday and at the end of the night I was told only on person could pay, based on restaurant policy. What a disaster, the staff would not help. Going back to the food. The duck was over cooked, dry and the steak I had tasted no better than $20 Outback Steakhouse . The cocktails was ordered way before the appetizers were received and well after the main course. Thanks for that. Was the bartender off sick and the host making the drinks? I

We came in on Valentine's Day with a reservation. We were seated promptly and the service was outstanding. Our dirty dishes were cleared immediately and our server was always ready to refill our glasses. The food was... just okay. Granted, we ordered from the limited menu for Valentine's Day, so I don't know if it would have been better on a different day, but it was a bit of a letdown. We splurged and ordered the caviar - definitely a fun treat and well presented. I ordered the beef tartare and my guy ordered the salad to start. Both were heavily lacking flavor, and after going back and looking at the menu, I now realize my tartare wasn't served with an egg yolk on top - such a disappointment ???? I then ordered the cacio e pepe, which was pretty good. My guy's risotto was just terrible. He isn't the type to send something back, and they were very busy, so we didn't complain.
