Francesca's Amici

Always loved Francesca's in Elmhurst. But wow, the portions have become small. Husband got risotto with peas and beans. Was more like peas and beans with very little rice. My shrimp pasta was delicious but there was so little of it. We're not big eaters either. No sides. We remember wonderful lunches there. Disappointing.

Have been going to various Francesca's for years and always enjoyed. This time the pasta was gummy, the shrimp in the pasta dish were overcooked, and the calamari was cold and not crisp. We had an amazing experience at this location. We have visited many other Francesca's and this was the best yet. We were greeted with enthusiasm, our server and every support staff was talkative and helpful. We were the only ones to sit outside and the staff checked on us frequently as if we were inside. We asked for grilled calamari and they prepared an amazing dish not on the menu, pictured. Thank you for making our anniversary very special and memorable.
