Ford's Garage Sarasota

I really doubted Ford’s garage!! For a while I kept avoiding going to ford’s garage here in Sarasota with the fear of encountering bad food. Given it’s a pretty standard American bar food kinda eatery. But I was certainly wrong. It really impressed me with not only the ambiance, but the food as well. There fish and chips are one of the best in the area I should say. The shrimp appetizer is pretty popping! Flights (only draft beer) had a great selection. The beer selection is pretty awesome. All other mixed beverages were pretty great! We got a rib, shrimp and sausage combo which was excellent. I was surprised as to a place as packed and quick moving had such good ribs, given ribs need to be always have the shortest time between smoker to plate. Service was great too. We were a party of 4 and were given a compact table which was too congested for us. Upon request our compact table server moved us to a booth which didn’t belong to her with arms wide open!! I visited this interesting restaurant with a friend. I've never been to this place and only realized it was a chain restaurant until after dinner. In short it's cool! I love the cars that are part of the decor. What's more American ???????? than Ford motors? We ordered the onion ring tower which was awesome. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious. My friend ordered the pulled pork Mac and cheese. Very tasty. Great service and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.

Very satisfied with all our food decisions. Service was fantastic and friendly. Portion size was good, they didn’t seem to give very many fries with the meals.
