Georgies UTC Restaurant & Bar

I normally don’t do a review if it is subpar. The only reason I’m doing this one is because I know there is someone that has a lot of money invested in this place. When we walked in I noticed that half the tables were empty. That explains why we were able to get reservations at 7:15pm on a Sat 3hrs before we decided to go. All the other restaurants in the area did not have availability. When I made the reservation at Georgie’s UTC I thought it was a new swanky upscale restaurant that offered an additional dining experience. When we left I was not sure if I was going to review Georgie’s or a bad dining experience at Applebees. The entire experience was just awful. Well maybe there was a few finer moments. The wait staff seemed scattered with no real direction. You could tell they were new and trying to do the best they could. We started with drinks and water for the table. I have dined here for brunch twice and both the food and service was great! The parking is a pain in the butt but that's UTC! It's a really fun vibe! Its family friendly, we love the rubber ducks in the mimosas! The servers have all been super friendly. The menu looks delicious, I can't wait to go back for more brunch!! Nom nom ???? Atmosphere is pretty lively, they have a nice shaded spot outdoors. Being August we opted for inside and had Julia as our server. She was really pleasant and helpful with suggestions and portion sizing questions. There are definitely not enough pictures of the food online so I took a pic of my chicken salad panini! It was delish. Crispy bread (like with a Cuban sandwich) with a generous amount of Brie and green apple. It was pretty tasty. We’ll be back for dinner at some point.
