Unbelievable! My family and I stopped one evening wanting good pizza. Being from out of town, we didn’t know where to go other than to one of the big commercial pizza joints. We googled this place and tried it on a whim. It was amazing. It had a small independent pizza place feel with wonderful food. (I was surprised to see it was a Florida chain.). The side salad was huge and very inexpensive. I split it with 2 others. Yumm! The pizza ingredients were fresh and the crust was a flavorful hand tossed. My daughter got the personal size pizza. It was big enough to split. Our waitress was welcome and attentive. Thank you Sasha! This is a definite must try. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
We were looking for pizza???? near Universal Studios Orlando and seen that they had a Flippers Pizzaria near the Dr. Phillips area which is just 10 minutes away from the theme park????. We had been to the one in Lady Lake Florida a few times and is one of our favorites. This location made a great pizza that passed the "Kelley Pizza Test". The pizza test is when you hold your pizza from the back and the tip does not fall and drop the toppings off or go limp at all. The pizza was cooked perfectly! But, This Flipper location would have got 5 stars from us if it had the same deal that the Lady Lake location offered. Which is 2 for the price of one beers and wine and free WiFi internet. At this location, in Orlando, we couldn't even use our phones here except for maybe to call and text, due to the poor cell service ????????. And lastly, Lady Lake has a buy 10 and get one free punch card that they give you. Not so much here at the Dr. Phillips Orlando's location. We always give places more
The "My Pie" pizza they made me yesterday was amazing. I got grilled red peppers and onions, roasted garlic, a bit of EVOO, and fresh basil and oregano.
