This is the best Cajun food I've had. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, staff, food and drinks. Our group of 6 all ordered something different so I was able to try a lot of things and they were all so good. Our waiter was so nice and professional.
Flatlands is one of our all time favorite restaurants. It’s absolutely delicious. Every plate is so flavorful. And I think the portions are very generous. I always have half of my food left. So I think that you could total share unless your just starving or once you realize how good it is you will not want to share. The staff is always super friendly. Great food and wonderful customer service.
I ordered the Catfish Pontchartrain. It wasn't as good this last visit as it has always been in the past. I'm not sure if the cooking staff was new or what. The beignets were even cooked too long. I was a little disappointed this last visit. Service was slow also which didn't help either. I have eaten here on many occasions and have never had such an experience, so I'm hoping it was just an off night and maybe they were understaffed or something.
