Flanigan's Seafood Bar and Grill

From the moment we walked in I felt so welcomed by the lovesome and friendly hostess, Danay. I already had the expectation that the wait was going to be somewhat long as this restaurant is always busy - I don’t blame them; everything is great. She welcomed us with a smile, maintained a friendly, funny conversation with us while we waited, and was very attentive with getting all tables cleared as fast as possible for the waiting parties. Our server, Bree, was another exceptional server that was always checking on us, brought everything in a well timely manner and was always helpful to our needs. 10/10 recommended!

Place is popular so be ready to wait between 45 minutes to an hour. Food was good and ambience was loud. They have security inside so I can imagine things happening on regular basis, just as we were sitting we saw a heated argument among 2 tables. That is reason enough for me not to go back, don't want to be in the middle of it.

My family and I were regular customers of this place, for this reason we invited my nephew, who is staying in Miami Beach since he came on vacation from Spain, Europe; he is 26 years old and he wanted to drink wine in the restaurant. They asked for his identification, which I think is fine; When he showed his ID, the waiter told him no, that instead, he had to bring his passport. I told him that we understood, but that the passport was in the hotel, and if we could talk to a manager; that he didn't even listen to us, and he just said that he would have to bring a passport. I love to travel, and it is the first place in the world that tells me that an ID is not an identification document, for me and my family it has been something embarrassing because of that, we will never return to this place.
