Five Star Seafood Restaurant

The shumai and sesame balls with red bean are my go to. Everything tastes great here. Definitely my favorite dim sum in the SGV. It makes me feel like I’m very far away from home which I love. Don’t be afraid to raise your hand and wave the carts down politely because it gets very busy and they have the tendency to skip passive tables.

Food is good. We got the fried lobster(18), mushroom beef(19), fried fish fillet(18), scallop garlic noodles each(4.99), and veggies. However, the dinning experience was very bad because there are almost no service. No water refill and no plate change. I think they need to work on their service. The atmosphere was also super loud. I can’t believe I upgraded from coming here in a baby stroller to coming here for a date with my manz!!! Parents have been consistently coming here since before I was born (this used to be New Capital). Well over two, almost three decades. The dim sum doesn’t miss. Make sure you can speak Cantonese if you come here (or at least come with someone who speaks Cantonese). Don’t hesitate to politely call over the cart ladies if your eyes catch a dish you want to eat. A great place for a brunch date or family brunch!! Some dishes are simple and toddler/baby friendly.
