We had a nice dinner at Fish District today 1/20/22. I got the swordfish with battered fries and sautéed veggies and my husband got blackened fish tacos. Fish was fresh and succulent with good flavors. We also had the bread pudding with whisky sauce which was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant for a quick & tasty bite. Service was good and prompt. Poke bowl large $13.50. Sweet potatoes fries $5.50 a little burnt. Slightly pricey for portion size. Outdoor seatings.
The fish and chips was hot, crispy and delicious. The dipping sauce served with the fish was not a typical tarter sauce but was very tangy and complimented the fish. A lemon wedge and malt vinegar were also included. The cole slaw was okay but nothing special, just thinly shredded green cabbage with a few bits of carrot in a plain mayo based dressing.
