Firefly Tosa

Below average experience. Staff was very inexperienced and over stretched. Our waitress had over 8 tables. Took about 15 minutes just to get our drink order. 30 minutes to get our dinner order. Food did come out pretty quick once ordered. However you know it sat there for a while because it was luke warm and not hot. My corn had completely cooled to room temperature. Beet appetizer was good but wish it had more goat cheese. Sticky chicken was very good. Kale salad with salmon was dry so be sure to ask for extra dressing. If you go plan for 1.5 hours minimum.

A must-go in Tosa! Firefly is tucked away in the tosa village but well worth the stop; it's extraordinarily spacious and well decorated; we sat in the front left room that almost felt like you were in a cabin. Before getting to the restaurant, we saw some fantastic things on Yelp and were even more delighted with our choices. All of their cocktails looked great. We went we the mojitos; for apps, we got an order of garlic parmesan fries, bacon-wrapped dates, and goat cheese bites; my fiance got a streak entree, and I got their pasta, both amazing. I tried some of the street corn he got with his steak and remembered it was delicious! We'll be back with friends to explore more of their menu.

I went to Firefly with some girlfriends, and it was really nice. In my opinion, their menu is not very extensive. However, less is more. Everyone in our party had the pork chop dinner. The pork chops were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The mashed potatoes were sooooo delicious. The vegetables were very good. I ordered a side salad which I didn’t need because the entree was very fulfilling. The atmosphere was so quaint and quiet. It wasn’t overly busy, and it was a Saturday evening. Parking was convenient. The service was very personable. My experience overall was great! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has a pulse.
