Finnish Bistro Coffee & Cafe

Awesome staff, excellent food, calming atmosphere, relaxed decor. This is an excellent place to come to relax with some great food. The prices aren't cheap, but they're not overly expensive either. And they have a great selection of drinks, snack type food (pastries and such), and full meals. All in all, a great place for starting or ending your day, or just a great place to grab a quick snack.

Mediocre at best. We ordered a danish and cappuccino ($8 + change). The cappuccino was ok, but not the reason to come here. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee, skip this place. There are proper coffee shops with good coffee in the area. Also skip the pastries. The danish tasted like it had been purchased at a grocery store pastry and was stall -- cheap, bleached flour, baked a century ago and frozen. We were told the danish had been baked earlier in the day.... The outdoor seating is nice here; we enjoyed the sunshine and the birds enjoyed the pastry. Parking: Street parking and a parking lot across the street from the cafe.

The Finnish Bistro is a cute little cafe with a surprisingly large and inclusive menu, filled with food options for all different dietary needs (including extensive vegetarian options). The food I had, the Famous Walnut Burger, was delectable and unique, a great texture and rich flavor with plenty of crunch and zest. The drinks are superb as well; I was pleasantly surprised at the earthiness of the matcha (they are often far too sweet for my pallette). We came during an open mic night, which was a refreshing treat. Vegetarian options: Extensive vegetarian options, not your standard veggie patty and fries either! Great options for vegan and vegetarian diets.
